D.J. Qualls: A Movie Star? I Don't Think So

My roommate is watching The New Guy right now and reminded me of how it was once thought D.J. Qualls might be able to trully head a movie.  Why this was ever the case I don't know, he worked fine as peripheral character in Todd Phillip's Road Trip (better than Old School), but thats about it.  Qualls biggest movies following the flop of The New Guy were The Core and Hustle and Flow.  Qualls had decent roles in a few major shows (LOST, CSI, My Name is Earl and Breaking Bad) but he has quickly become a dusty relic of my high school years.
